    I think you guys missing something….Karaoke set that attached to home TV….I used to sing that one at home….I think some of you guys might have this at home…..Besides that, at BJ shopping complex also has karaoke room….about the size of telephone booth….about 2 to 3 ppl can sing…i see a lot of foreign workers used to sing in that booth during weekend……

    yaya. karaoke at home. my lau bu keep upgrading the sound system just for the sake of singing karaoke. started to sing oldies when i was little. still remember those songs like sad movies, smoke gets in your eyes, love me tender, casablanca, jambalaya, etc… and it was in VHS tape format, can’t choose song number, only can forward and rewind the tape…

    Another good way to be famous in karaoke, to sing like super star is…..go to ppl wedding banquet…..then sing like “siao lang”…..keep sing until don’t want to go down from stage…..or always nominate yourself to sing….the most important is to bring your own karaoke CD…..then the given angpow will be very worth

    Can I suggest that Penang Hokkien start our own Karaoke contest? Capture your own singing in A- (music only) CD for files in MP3 format. Send into Penang Hokkien site and let people download and vote the best 10 songs. Hokkien songs, Canton pop, Mandarin pop, English songs also can. I bet there are many aspiring singers out there listening to Pg Hokkien leh. Maybe can compile the top songs into a CD and sell them when John is in Pg next year. Monies collected to be used for future gathering events. Can ah like that? He He He…
