– we no longer can get condense milk in Malaysia… all we are getting is condense creamer (which is made from palm oil).
– this is due to price control of milk, and manufacturer can’t make enough profit, and ended up get a substitute for us.

“Ang-Ji Gu Leng” is the brand name for condensed milk, gu-leng-ko.
The “piau tau” is a farm lady carrying a milk bucket on top of her head.

Overseas (outside Malaysia) nowadays, there’re a lot of campaign and advertising to boycott palm oil products because of the rapid rate of deforestation in Borneo. The industry and government’s disregard for the impact to the environment and wildlife is very disheartening and disappointing. They only care for profit for themselves. Even the orang asli are all being forced off their ancestral lands too. It’s so sad…..
