The show started a little rough. No one showed up for the ghost month recording because many people went out to pay respect to the ghosts. But I managed to tipu a bunch of new listeners to come chat with me. And many of them didn’t go out and pai kui. So glad the old birds and new birds can make this show fun!
the myths of 7th month food spoiled earlier because normally summer time very hot and will encourage more bacteria to grow in the food cause it spoil faster… this is my mom said eh… haha
There’s a difference of freshness or flavor between food offered on Pai Tnee Kong during CNY and those offered during 7th month. The former still tasted good while the later has lost almost all its flavor, on both occasions the climates are hot and humid.
I did received Siu Bak offered during 7th month and I forgot to consume it on the same day leaving it in the fridge. You know what. It turn almost dark and unpalatable the next day! Ghost also in the fridge?
