Ah Long and I talked about the similarities and differences living in Xiamen and Penang. Things we can improve, and things we should continue doing. Of course ended with some stupid silly conversation.

The ingredient is 250g (8.8 oz) of glutinous rice flour, 1.5 cup of water, 2 table spoon of oil, peanuts, sugar and sesame seed.
1. Mix the flour with water and oil evenly. Pour into a metal plate and steam for 40min till cooked.
2. Prepare grinded peanuts (Chah toh tau jin), sesame seed and sugar.
3. After the flour cooked, mix with evenly with item 2.
4. Eat…
One of our listeners, who is also a great cook, made sent me a picture of her own Yong Tau Foo. And she clarified that the type with pork and salted fish is a Hakka style Yong Tau Foo.
