This episode is really really really boring. John, you shouldn’t have posted this episode. It is merely a discussion, which should be done offline.
It’s a discussion. And it requires those who wants to be a part of it to get what we talked about. I respect the fact that you think it’s boring. But luckily, you’re not forced to listen.
And to all my #PGHK supporters, this is the reason why you are not charged for the show. Can you imagine the sense of entitlement some of you may have developed?
yeah… its really very complicated….. cos there are lots of widget that i have to put it. Its actually my blog, not only for podcast, the download part, I have to direct to mobileradio.hk, that’s bcos they r providing me space for my show, to give a credit, i have to do so.
about english verson, since my english is not good, it is really no point for me to blog in english, cos I dun think i can express myself better….. Hahaha… r u going to read a lousy english blog? I have tried to put some english title already…. hope u understand my sitution…thanks for your support anyway…

thanks
I like hottuna’s idea ! I heard the show and I also put in my nor-lui (not enough for nor-puat yet)……
1. Penang should not be limited to food or tourist spots, we should leave space to the warm-hearted people, touching stories, etc. We can introduce a particularly interesting person next time, too.
2. I personally dun like the word “ka-liao” because, I believe the beauty of Penang from every aspect is never going to be “liao”. “Ka-liao” sounds to me like there’s an end to everything.
3. We should not use any name already commonly heard by people. Personally I think Cin Kue Gien suggested by hottuna is cute and fresh.

John,
U r right. I like when u say “But luckily, you’re not forced to listen.” I think those “real supporters” of PGHK can understand this.
Always remember, u wont get charge to have fun, to join, and to some people, PGHK has been a platform for them to melepaskan geram…and yet, its FOC, John and those participants involved gave full effort on it… . All these need to be appreciated.
If you feel its boring, just delete the episod and trash them to your recycle bin.

You can get a few books in MPH. If you live in Penang, YMCA does provide courses to non-Chinese. I am glad you want to learn Penang Hokkien. Do add aokh2002@hotmail.com and we can MSN further…… ^^
Hi, John and ka lia #PGHK supporters.
Wa pun si !! wanna support the new show, cos I also in oversea(Japan). Makan-makan bo tan ciak pun ho, U tan kua & listen ma……..
Come on. Go!!!!!!!!
Doing this show is actually just an interest, we earn not even a sen, but we wish that we can learn more and gain experience, and to enjoy the fun. I hope all of you can join the video shooting, lets have fun together!!
Would like to recommend a place in Kamunting, Karangan where there is a place to feast on Pirahna. Heard that they were successfully bred locally but the shop owner will order only limited fishes. The fish is not the one seen on the Pirahna movie but it is a cousin specis from Brazil. It is quite big and expensive. Usually chef recommend to cook it two ways (deep fried and siam steamed). As this is a predator fish, it has full muscles which are delicious. Tried it and then we can boast that we’ve tasted the Pirahna.
Myth: Pirahna eat man
Fact: Man eat Pirahna
Do post your comment whether anyone keen to do the Pirahna show. 🙂

By the way Maf…you can also check out the Hokkien forum on:
https://www.chineselanguage.org/forums/viewforum.php?f=6
It’s been going for about as long as PGHK.
The kind people there have given lots of answers over the years to my questions about learning PGHK.
i remember i did place a comment, dunno why i can’t locate it…
You posted about the aunty on last week’s show.
