Hi Penangnites
I am a graduate student at Rice University. I am looking to provide an account of Penang Hokkien’s sound system – tone etc, which has not been done thoroughly before. So I am looking for native Penang Hokkien speakers who might want to help me. Basically, I will provide a list of words and phrases which you read and record. You will need to be able to record onto your computer or at least digitally and then send the file to me. Unless you are in Houston. In this case, I can come to you or arrange to meet.
Thanks
Sarah
