Particularly in this episode, he brought down the episode. It seems like he is in a debate mode or ready to pounce at other guests. It is a turn off.
From our following of Penang Hokkien all these years, we think that this isn’t a portal for debate, or to judge who is right or wrong.
In here, guests share their thoughts and experiences in a delightful way and at the same time we learn hokkien or listen to penang hokkien when we are so far away from Penang.
This is the main reason people tune in to listen and keep on coming back.

I understand how you’d feel that way about Belacan Ke’s comments on the show. I’m certain he means well. I picked that up too, I don’t think he intends to be argumentative. Maybe because I know his character.
You’re right, I do like to keep the show upbeat, but we are all human and sometimes things don’t always come out the way we want it.
