   chau chiu cheh actually is myth.

   Myth 1 She is wife of Jiang Ji Ya during Wu Wang Fa Zhou (Establishment of Zhou Dynasty ie Zhou Wen Wang). The adviser is Jiang Ji Ya married old lady at age 70. His wife age 60. Both of them make a living through selling brooms. She always used broom to whack Jiang Ji Ya. Upon successful in defeating Shang Dynasty, Jiang Ji Ya awarding honour to generals and warriors. The myth deities include er lang, xi tar tian wang, nezha, thunder god and etc. Jiang Ji Ya’s wife asked to grant her a title as deity. Jiang Ji Ya made her as broom god since she always used broom to beat him

   Myth 2 Is a curse by Jiang Ji Ya against his disciple who grabbed position of Jade Emperor from Jiang Ji Ya. The disciple made himself as Jade Emperor. Jiang Ji Ya cursed that moving onwards, the Jade Emperor’s son will be a thief stealing and rush back at night (as meteor) and Jade Emperor’s daughters will always having affair with mankind from earth.
