   hi john. you must be the same john i first get to know via kayes penangtalk. and you did signed up for my penang4u yahoogroups too right? well that group is dead now. i had some plans in mind to ‘resurrect’ it in the form of a blog.

   i came across this site of yours via the penang bloggers portal. good to see you starting this site with podcasts to entertain us. keep it up!

I really think this is the very first show entirely in Penang Hokkien. I’m very excited about it, and I’d need all your help to spread the news about this podcast.    It sounded hilarious, refreshing and so down-memory-lane. Its so good to listen to a hometown people talking in tongues that is so “lau-nuah” I really enjoyed the podcast and I wish I can contribute my “koh-su” too.I like to “Chap Goh Meh” pantun. Sp keep podcasting in Pinang Hokkien…Lu pai tih kong, wakee chiak hong.

   Thank you so much for your comment. Indeed I agree with your observations. I for one, is the one who feels like it’s a memory lane. I really started the show because I have waited long enough for some Penang podcasts. So, I decided to start one, and hopefully this would spark some other podcasters straight from the island.    Hi guys, I’m from Penang also, and this is a very pleasant surprise indeed. A local podcast! And a great one too! Even though my Hokkien isn’t very good (shame on me) for a Penangite, but I still manage to understand most of your show. This is great, I’ll spread the word and post a link on my blog.

    This is great!! I’m originally from Penang but am studying overseas now. It’s just great to hear something about home and especially when it’s spoken in our very own language. My parents would sure to love this too! It’s also a great reminder to some of the words that are hardly use anymore. I love it!
