Guest: KE, Ah Chew, Lau Sai & Bang Kuang.

Find out our new slogan for Penang Hokkien in this show.

As I was talking to a listener, Bekembak from New York, he brought up the games that we grew up with, Game and Watch. During our recording, the guests told me that it’s also called Tit Tit Game. Please share your experience in the comment area. Let us know also if you’re too young to know what I’m talking about.

Wow!this really bring back a lot of my childhood play too, at first i didnt quite know what Game and Watch was but when u mention Tit Tit game, immediately i know what’s that. When we(me and other kids in my family) were small, we used to have the Octopus, Snoopy playing tennis, Mickey collecting eggs, Mario, and that’s one Gorrila catching umbrella to find a key and open a treasure box one, Pin ball (or pinpon ball, can’t remember well), ghost buster and etc. Very interesting!! 🙂

wow, wow, wow !! I love that game & watch pic leh. Really bring me back to olden days. I like to play the snoopy tennis one. I think it is purple in colour & the mickey mouse collect eggs shd be in red colour if not mistaken. And i still remember, when the technology is a bit advance then came out the 2 screens one.

Oh ya, because each device is only can play one type of game, and we have no money to buy other units to play other games, then what we usually did is to exchange our unit to friends so that to get chance play other types of game.

yes yes now i do remember this Game and Watch thingy… i bought one secretly cos my mom forbid us to get one.. tat time cost about close to $50 each. Later one i got one that can be worn like a watch (black colour) and has several games alternatives playing with the little black round dots. I think that was like early 80s time?

  12. Siao Cha Bor

i’m from mid 80’s… during my younger days, i remember playing bubble dragon, pinball, tetris, mario, pacman, circus, combat, street fighter etc… then during primary school, gameboy and tamagochi are very popular…

  13. Siao Cha Bor

ah, now i remember the fire game. the casualty will jump out of window, and we need to bounce him on stretcher into the ambulance… western bar looks familiar, but i cant recall ><

  14. TT

i still remembered those days my father banned me from playing it, and i have to ‘curi-curi’ play when he is not around. i called it ‘tit-tit’ game too… thx for reminding me about the it. 🙂

  15. Tu Nui

Still remember I had tetris cum cassette player handheld, every mornign I have to fight with my sister just to enjoy the game. My cousin had the popoye (i dun remember how to spell de) handheld, i think is game & watch gua, the machine can be folded like nintendo DS now. when you play the game, the image is reflected from the mirror inside, i dunno how they wanna make the machine like that but 1 think i am pretty sure that you won’t find any liquid from the display when you press it.
