「父親叫我退休，不要再打工了！」朋友在公司屢受委屈，正有辭職意向。
她在廣告公司表現卓越，公司不少主要客戶也由她處理；可是她每天都受到直屬上司欺壓，他不只與友人爭功勞，而且還刻意製造事故，貶抑其表現，甚至損害客戶利益，以抬高本身的重要性。
朋友激動地問我：「你有沒有遇過這種損人不利己的『毒上司』？我很快就崩潰了！」我跟她說：「我當然遇過，比你的上司更『毒』的也見過，而我並不覺得你的上司很難應付。」
因為她的上司只算「爛」，還未發展至「毒」。最難應付的「毒上司」，是工於心計又有業績表現的人。遇到這類上司，除非有特殊理由，否則也無謂與之糾纏。沒有能力和業績差的「爛上司」，時間自然會淘汰他；若老闆還未警覺要清除瘀血，這家公司最終也會被市場淘汰。
澳洲有研究發現，三分二打工仔會受到上司欺凌並出現情緒問題。倘若企業高層沒有正視問題而反被這些人蒙蔽，縱容他們作威作福，最後只會令公司充斥怨氣，人才流失，影響業績和生產力。
公司有「毒上司」，員工可以做的事不多，苦果最終會由老闆承受。相反，只要培養出實力、再具備高情商和逆境智商，就能清醒應付每項挑戰。當機會一到，「爛上司」反而會成為你成功上位的踏腳石。

My boss is a Local Chinaman。
Pay less<work more(pau suah pau hai).
Every day have to do O.T(no o.t claim) ,if not ,next day “kena liao”.Will give a lot of jobs.
Better you death, otherwise have to work ,even you are sick.
Very “super tu lan” ,when i am still not fully recover from surgery,he asked my manager call me and asked me ，when i can back to work.
we work hard for company ,but a good thing”kah ki lang”will be the first.
Last time my boss is very good, but now too bad，because rich liao mah。
So funy,They are base on chinese celender as a financial year.so if you regisn before CNY ,”chiak suaw”-no bonus.
One month before CNY,his face black like a puki(sorry,”puki”used your name ),cause of bonus.
Last year cut our bonus,his said “bo tan duit”.But “kah ki lang”increase 。
“Bo tan duit”,but can buy a new house RM500K++and renovation RM300K++
,1 new car and 1 small tree RM1500.
Especially local chinese boss.”pandai kira”

Hi I really enjoyed listening to your bosses stories, my ex-boss was a no.32 too 🙂 but i also had a very wonderful malay boss. ANyway, thanks Loti Guan and John for telling about Russell Peters, i just watched in youtube and love his jokes :p kamsiah
not just bosses. there are always bad colleagues too.
anyway here’s more that i find very meaningful.
“其實「毒老闆」四處皆是，當員工的又如何應付呢﹖如果「毒老闆」只是直屬上司還容易應付，因為只要你有良好表現，屬於公司需要的人才，有問題的直屬上司也難以作惡。倘若「毒老闆」是公司的話事人（不一定是公司的大老闆），問題就很棘手，因為個人努力未必可以改變「毒老闆」的行為，同時作為員工的也沒有義務去教育「毒老闆」成才，遇到這些「毒老闆」，你只有兩個選擇，就是立即辭職或遲些辭職。”
I go home early one day and my boss look at me strangely, I try to work 10am to 10pm as my daily routine. My boss is not bad but long hours and my pay is too low. Anyway you miss a t in plant..

i work from 9am till 9pm as my daily routine…sometime even 11pm, 12pm.
and my pay is not proportion to my work 🙁
boss is good but working hour too long…
Everything will raise but salary 99% will not raise. This is life.

Me too, when i have to work over night, i go sentou and sleep when i can. Some of my co-worker don’t take bath and smelled… I am not kidding, when deadlines is near, our office, even building smelled.
My trick is to always plan ahead and finished the job first and when the time comes , I just tell them “By the way, the layout you asked for is on the server, otukaresama~” and go home at the end of the day. hehe

actually, japanese are not work addict but they just spend too much time in office even not busy.
they dare not leave if boss still in office.

Japanese company is base in seniority so u work in there will naik pangkat
Europeans company is base on paper …. (diploma) (degree) will diff pay 🙂
