About why ppl dont eat garlic and onion is because… there is a story a bout a Chinese guy in ancient times in China who eat Pau(Bak Pau). He didnt finish the pau, so, he threw it away. At the place the pau landed, grew onion and garlic. So the ppl of China thought that onion and garlic were part of meat coz it grew from the pau. That is why vegetarian dont eat onion and garlic. As for the story about ppl in ancient times did not eat meat but vege, that is oso a tale regarding it, but its from the view point of Christianity. It is written in the Bible that when God created Adam and Eve, they know nothing bout this world. They wear nothing too. Adam and Eve eats oni vegetable and fruits(anything that has nothing to do with meat). However, when they eat the Forbidden Fruit from the Forbidden Garden, their eyes were ‘opened’ and they knew everything about this world. That means that they know that they were naked. So, God has to kill animal and uses the skin to make clothes for Adam and Eve. That was when human started to eat meat. Its something like that la. I m not that professional-haha. (“,)
P/S: I m sorry if whatever I say did not match ur story, but thats wat I know.
