Hi Ah John! “Gong Xi Fa Cai” to u!!!! Just back from Penang tonight n the first thing I did soon after I’ve reached home was to update your Penang Hokkien Podcast in my i-Tune….kind of addicted to it, ha…: ).
As usual, I’ve pig out like a swine when I’m back there in Penang. Still couldn’t get enough of it…damn…hahaha!!!
Guess what, I’ve met Heow Hong when I was in Penang…accidentally….he is my junior’s brother-lah…we’ve met once a long long time ago…such a small world isn’t it?
Penang truly is the only place where we can really feel like “home” during CNY….the noise of lion dance’s beating drum….the sound of firecracker during day n night … the joy of celebration for this special occasion can only be found in Penang…. the whole atmosphere is utterly different form any other place on earth…it is so “hilarious”!!!
What a reminiscent when listening to ur CNY song….of course I did “tangkap” ur “suara”…..”Ton Thien Ee Tau Ching Toh” is ur part right? What a voice…: )
