I am listening to your podcast after being directed from the Estee Lauder comments. Mabel is very beautiful but she comes across as quite kiddish, she sounds like 13 – 15. Perhaps it is because she is conversing in very manja way with her mom, grandma and uncle?
Can you prepare her to speak more seriously, more adultlike in the finals? This is because I am sure she will surely be judged for her sophistication and maturity instead of just a sweet young thing. Right now, if she were to enter for a teen cheerleading queen, She will win But for Estee Lauder, pls ask her to speak more adult like. And don’t laugh so much. She has to project poise as well. From a friend who wants to see her win.

I also think you’re right that she is manja because she speaking in Hokkien and in front of her elders.
She emcees and hosts many events. No stage fright for her. Hopefully she’ll do the same if she enters the final round.
