We just celebrated the Ghost Festival, it’s perfect time for us to talk about the festival. We have many crazy guests. You cannot miss this episode.
I will be leaving for Penang this Thursday morning. Will be arriving in Penang on September 12th around 9PM at Penang International Airport. Please follow me on Twitter, Facebook and https://PenangHokkien.com for more information about gatherings.
See you all in Penang!
cannot luan luan say something about dua shu ia
the meaning of por toh…all wrong…all is started from Ti Chang Wang Pu Sha..who started the por toh…when he in human form in meditation…he see his parent become hungry ghost realm…cant eat at all even tough he make chanting…then he ask the Buddha..how to make his parent eat…the Buddha tell him, by chanting alone, the power is not enough…in order for the hungry ghost to eat..all you need is to have mass gathering people and chant together..the power of so many people by chanting will have a great impact to open the throat of the hungry ghost realm to eat. That really meaning of of Por Toh celebration.
