We are back to First Avenue in Penang. This week we talked about what happens when you don’t have enough sleep. How do we cope with lack of sleep. For some reason, we went from being high from lack of sleep to sex when you’re sleepy, all the way to peeing and pooping. You may not want to have lunch or dinner when you listen to the end of this podcast.
I plan to have a recording this Saturday. Please check back on this site in a few days or friend the show on Facebook. I’ll announce the topics here and on Facebook.
Since I know there are quite a few of you listeners of Penang Hokkien Podcast who are in the USA, I thought I should share this with you too. Enjoy!

Being a big foodie, I invited one of the engineers, literally, who created Little Red Dot Kitchen. They sell naturally produced Bak Kua (or Bak Kwa), which is a kind of Chinese barbeque jerky. Learn more about their Bak Kua (I write it as either Bak Kuaⁿ or Bak kNua) and how these engineers started this business.
Also find out more about how methodically they tested and came up with their recipe.
They have the regular Bak Kua, Lite Bak Kua, and even, Turkey Bak Kua, which is surprisingly good. Learn more about all these bak kua in this week’s podcast.
From now until May 8, 2011, there’s a code at checkout (when you’re about to check out, look for the yellow tag to redeem the discount code.

This week, I invite you into the roller coaster ride in WiwiWawa’s car, which is our portable studio. There is an upgrade to the car. I asked them about their first impression this time when they saw me. We talked about multiple topics including detailed introductions of some new guests, WiwiWawa’s driving habit, but one major one is how I lost my weight.

This episode was recorded before I went back to Penang. Thanks for everything you guys have done when I was in Penang. And made this year’s birthday very memorable.
The long awaited ghost episode is finally out. Find out how one of our guests saw a dead relative in Manchurian outfit. There’s also a dead employee in one of our guests’ family business. This involved a severed head. Super creepy. Don’t miss out.

Since tomorrow is the actual day of Cheng Beng (清明), we have twenty listeners sitting at Starbucks talking about this traditional festival. Even I learned a few new things about Cheng Beng. Thanks to all the new listeners and old listeners who showed up at 1st Avenue.
Also, thank you very very much for your gifts and support while I’m in Penang. I appreciate you all taking the time to come meet me and celebrate my birthday with me. It means a lot to me.
I had a special opportunity to attend my first ever Twestival, and miraculously, it’s in my hometown, Penang.
I also learned about the National Stroke Association of Malaysia (NASAM) at my first Penang Twestival. Learn more from fellow twestival attendees and the chairman of NASAM Mr Chan.
Please donate to NASAM generously.
Support your local Twestival next year. I really appreciate how the young generations utilize technology and social media for charity. I’m honored to be a part of it.
