Guests: He· Ko· & Hang Hu
I always enjoy hanging out with niece and nephews. Recently I get to drag my nephew “Hang Hu” and niece “He· Ko·” into the studio and have them chat with me. But I reminded them to use as much Hokkien as possible.
It doesn’t matter how good or bad you think your Hokkien is, as long as you don’t feel embarrassed about it, you’re on the right track. They definitely reflect the younger generation in Penang that we need to capture to pay more attention and have more pride of their own unique and witty Penang Hokkien.
