The article about Penang Hokkien Podcast and myself on Kwong Wah.
If you don’t read Chinese or if you want to entertain yourself with a good laugh, you can also read this page with Google Translation. Laughed my butt off!
Special edition: Kwong Wah Jit Poh interviewed me when I was back in Penang about my podcast. It is released on Tuesday’s paper (June 7, 2011). Not sure if it’s just the northern region. You’ll let me know. WiwiWawa already got the night paper. Here’s a picture of it.
I hope you’ll go get a copy and check out the article. I have yet to read it. I read it. A good reflection of myself and Penang Hokkien Podcast. You let me know what you think about the article.
Thanks to Tua Leng and Bi Tang (from Gourmet Garden) and the Ki Chia from Kwong Wah, 杨慎坚 for the story!

As Asians, I’m sure you know that there are many things we eat that we think are delicious and smell good are actually very disgusting to other people. Fermented food are such a staple in our food. We discussed in details of what we love to eat that are stinky! Share your favorite stinky food.
Guests: Chhin Chhai & Liulian Thau
Thanks to Jes for pointing out that the file wasn’t complete. I have re-upload the entire show.
It is amazing what we did when we were young to get away from school. Find out to what extend these guests of mine did when they were in school, and when they’re at work. I’m sure you will find some of their tricks ones you have done or at least pondered doing.

Continueing from last week’s recording, we get to actually visit the famous Mei Rong Siang Sio Bah (美蓉香烧肉). Her sio bah is SO SO SO good. Please visit her and tell you that you heard on Penang Hokkien Podcast (she’ll know me as that guy from America who recorded at her stall). I will definitely go back next time I’m back to Penang.

We are back to First Avenue in Penang. This week we talked about what happens when you don’t have enough sleep. How do we cope with lack of sleep. For some reason, we went from being high from lack of sleep to sex when you’re sleepy, all the way to peeing and pooping. You may not want to have lunch or dinner when you listen to the end of this podcast.
I plan to have a recording this Saturday. Please check back on this site in a few days or friend the show on Facebook. I’ll announce the topics here and on Facebook.
