This is the additional information on the things I mentioned:

Datuk Kong – There are many colors, and their individual ‘colors’ indicates their rank or capabilities. It can be an elderly person, a child, a Malay, a Chinese or an Indian . The Links below gives a good explanations about Datuk Kong (although the wikipedia one is obvious).

Power – I’m referring to the energy or may be assumed as ‘chi’ energy.
Teh Choo Kong – Something interesting to note. In Malaysia, Teh Choo Kong are believed to be 5 individuals and it is believed that one of these individuals is a Malay elder, thus it’s recommended not to use pork for worshipping. In China or Taiwan, Teh Choo Kong is an elderly Chinese individual (I stand to be corrected). Therefore, we can conclude Teh Choo Kong at different locations may be different. For instance, (if they ever exist – my guess) Teh Choo Kong in U.S.A. may/can be a Native American individuals – just a food for thought or a possibility.
Malay Deity in a Chinese Temple – I dug up my ‘notes’, so here it is.
