We talk about education this week. Started off some good debate from various perspectives. Somewhat serious for a PGHK episode. But good nonetheless.
I struggled about posting a show this week because of the heavy news of MH370. My thoughts are with all who are affected in the disappearance of MH370.
I find it tualiap-tao is very impolite, I felt he intently speak over other ppl. This is not the first time already which i think is a little bit annoyed. I understood he got a lot opinion and good information to share, but tbh, let other people speak as well.
Koh-ū, I ták-ták-pái kóng Âng-mô niā.
Wá ká-ē su-kah thiann tsit-khuán ê tsiat-bo̍k niā! Ha-ha, kóng kà-tshim ê tê-ba̍k, thiann liáu ū-iánn o̍h tio̍h mi̍h-kiānn, pún ū kóng tio̍h wá tsò ha̍k-seng ê sim-siann. LOL.
Hi-bāng pa̍t-táu ē tsò siâng-kà-tsit-khuán ê tsiat-bo̍k, ta-pi kà-su-bûn lá. Kám-siā.
tuah liap tao talked too much and used too much English in this hokkien show. very annoying, sorry just say what i felt.
Very soon it no longer Penang Hokkien but Ang Mo Hokkien
John also forgotten that everything must be in Hokkien.
Thanks all for your input. No excuse for me, sometimes we get carried away with the subject and switched into our “regular” mode.
As far as Tua Liap Tau, I’m aware of what you’re talking about. But I want to remind you that everyone on the show are volunteers. We are all doing it for free and because we enjoy the community. Be kind. Don’t get me wrong. I’m not saying you can’t express your opinion. I appreciate it.
We’ll get better. It’s also my job to control the guests to not talk over others. Sometimes when we have more than 10 people it can be challenging for guests to know who’s talking. It’s better when you’re in Google Hangout. TLT is on skype. That could be the problem.
Regardless, thanks for your input.
Now, come celebrate my birthday with me this weekend.
Isn’t kinda ironic that this topic is about education and I bare the responsibility of not using enough Hokkien on my own Hokkien podcast! LOL.
I LOVE TUA LIAP TAO…because…
he always said:”
“…correct me if i was wrong…”
“…i maybe wrong in this…”
as a observer…
sometimes when you on SKYPE or Google HangOut…
we need to face the “Time Laps”…or “Delay”…1 to 2 second…some even up to 7 second…
so i think Tua Liap Tao not mean that…because i know his line is delay for few second (correct me if i was wrong :-p)
People come People go (Guest) in Penang Hokkien…
so we must appreciate their contribute in the recording…
( 2 a.m. malaysia time i also cannot tahan…10 years ago maybe i can stay awake for recording)
after reading all the others comment, only to realize tuah-liap-tao is on skype instead of hangout, I think I’ve got over frustrated when i leave a comment last time. I would like apologize if I had cause un-easy feeling among the listener or contributor.
once more, i do appreciate all the hard work and contributes of all the volunteers and supporters of penanghokkien and also the all mighty powerful miku john!
without u all, i will be so sad : (
u guys lighten up my life, with laughter, joys and tears!
Si-tuah-bui,
Don’t worry. I think of us as a big family. Even family members will have conflict very now and then. I appreciate everyone’s support. Without each and everyone of you, PGHK would not be successful at all.
Also, I would like to give you credit for being able to look back and apologize to TLT about it. Don’t worry he’s fine, he’s cool about it. He’s coming to the recording.
Appreciate everyone’s support.
I want to see us all like one big happy family.
I like eng kok tiong! He is damn funny!
