I invited Hau-Tiaunn A-Long to discuss with us the system we use to accurately write Hokkien. You have to first learn the system, then you can use this way of writing to type Hokkien in Chinese characters by installing a new input method.
Download the PDF or JPEGS before you listen to the episode. Get familiarized with the Penang Hokkien Romanisation System.
Then learn how to type Penang Hokkien on your computer.

I’m soooooooo delighted to find you guys! I speak basic Hokkien (from U.S., lived in Malaysia for a while) and here in San Diego and cannot find anyone who speaks Hokkien so I can continue to practice (use it or lose it)…thank you!!!! Is there a online meet up to practice/learn live in a group?
Tammy, so good to hear from you and for discovering us! This year we celebrate 20 years of trying to get this language the attention it deserves.
As far as live practice sessions, we had a very active Clubhouse community. It’s a social audio platform. And our members meet multiple times a week. May be tricky timezone wise, but it’s there.
