This week our guests and I shared our experience on how we were cheated. Sometimes little things like an expensive bowl of noodles. Or sometimes paying thousands of ringgit of money and never get the products.
Just be alert whenever you are in Bukit Bintang area. There is this guy who still go around to scam others especially near hotels, tourist site. His usual tactic…
He will politely introduce himself and tell you that he is a teacher from Sabah/Sarawak, and is in KL for school trip with his students. He will then say that he is left behind by his group. His group is already on the way to the airport and his luggage is in the bus. Then he will try to tok you by asking you to borrow him some money so that he can make it to the airport on time. He will even leave down his phone number and address and ask for your bank account so that he can return your good deeds. And of course, after taking your money, you will never hear from him again.
I was tok-ed by this guy about 2 years back, even tho it was only rm10 that i ‘donated’ to him, i still feel cheated. Surprisingly, he still emerged near the same place i kena tok-ed after a few months. I drove passed JW *toot* hotel and saw him trying to tok some other people. I should have stopped my car and get the security… Will never be kind to strangers again…
Anyone else kena tok-ed by him?
