I too have a friend who happens to be gay and there’s nothing wrong with it. There’s no reason why we should disgrace them in our society. Its not who they choose to be and its not their fault either. Its just who they are.

Learn to accept and widen your scope, this world would then be a much better place to live in. Together regardless of whoever we are, where you’re living, lets wear pink on this special day. Cheers~

i have no problems with gays and this campaign is an eye opener to those who are prejudiced. John, i am proud of you for being open to us PGHK fans by letting us know you are gay. i love you for that and its time you show us your husband’s photo!

Thanks for all your support. It is important for me to be honest and open and proud about my sexuality. Especially if I want the next generation to not think of their sexuality as a stigma or abnormality. I grew up to be a decent human being, having a rather nice life. I want to be the someone that I didn’t have growing up a gay kid, a positive figure out there who is comfortable enough to be in their own skin.

Oh, BTW, my partner (hopefully in the very near future I will be able to legally marry him and officially call him my husband) is very private compared to me. There’s not a lot of pictures of him. But there are some buried in my Flickr account:

and, there’s also a video of him and I at https://OnglinePodcast.com look for Video and you’ll see us in a video called “Nature Scares Me”

personally i don’t see what the fuss is all about whether a person is straight, gay, or lesbian .the lady in the pink kebaya top says it best. sexuality is only a small part. . couple of co-workers and i were chatting just the other day and the issue of sexuality came into the discussion. one of them commented that this is not the “norm” and she went on to saying something like “god made man and woman in the sacred biblical sense(i think)… got lost in translation somewhere after god. i was in off mode then but i might have said something like plz dont drag god into the picture.i am not a christian but i don’t think the great mighty one Himself discriminate nor condemn folks who are different ie faith, sexuality, color and the list goes on.

    Great message.

cool site john.btw i like miku especially those french toast style mikus.

    Thank you all.

Lee, your way of thinking is what giving me hope. People are seeing pass the uneducated view and irrational fear. That’s why I am very much for those who can come out to be out. The more we feel like we have to hide, the more the fearful will keep fearing.

I am quite known for my big personality, and happy-go-lucky personality. I want those who didn’t know I was gay before (they should!) to know that there’s nothing at all different before they know that I’m gay and after they know. I’m still the same old bubbly person they know.

Kind of late to put on a commnet here but as recently only I got the time go thru and write on the comments area….

Definitely agree with some of the above, sexuality is just a small part of a person. Often they are great people with great characters, and they are great family members, great friends & are great colleagues to many!

    Freedom & peace to all.
