Ah John, good show again! really enjoy this show , so keat ,so funny. I wonder why everybody call me “Batupoh” or “Batukia”. stone hv to = batu…hahahah. I also from Chung Tut & i want to share some teacher nickname , is really rude & sound like her real name, her name is “Kan Beh Sua” (Hokkien), Eng translation is FUCK untill don’t want to stop.
This episode is really “siok”. Katakpuru and I were laughing like hell in the car. Gu leng chi is very very funny.
Haha…the driver stopped beside our car must have mistaken me and lapchiong are crazy..we called people names also in high school. we have ma yi huang hou (ant’s queen – talking too soft & writing to small), camel (her surname is ?), er kou (her surname is ?), mu zhi (surname is ?), lion king (teacher with big hair), palmolive (teacher always shake her shoulder like palmolive ad), cactus nanny (classmate crazy about cactus), kuih talam (our school prefect), siao beh (aggresive basketball payer), o a (other school prefect), nyeo meh meh (our shcool headmaster), ban shu tong (my school bus driver), etc… miss those wild days..

this episode reminds me of my good old high school days…still remember we made madonna cried once…feel sorry now when my friends and I recall that.
Jimmy: We can be very cruel at times 🙂 Hopefully most of us grew up to be decent human beings and contributing citizens, wherever we may end up.

I have a few nicknames instances, thanks to my mother’s creativity:
1) Our cruel neighbor back home, dislike our tree outside of the house. He has a family of his own, consisting of his cruel wife and his busybody 5 year old daughter. Their surname is Chook. Opposite my house is where his mother-in-law lives with Mr. Chook’s bro-in-law, two sis-in-laws and all their kids. They hate our tree because as they claimed, the tree was blocking their view when they were screaming from house to house. That was the last thing we heard from them and the next day, they chopped off our tree! BOTAK and even put poison on the tree so that it won’t grow. How can anyone kill a tree like that? So much for the environmental banner.. anyways, since then, my mother called Mr. Chook as Osama, the wife as Osami, the sis-in-law as Osamek, and his daughter who has a round face as Moon Chook. The mom-in-law is LarPah. We even got a song for them.. “Osami Osama life goes on … YEAH!” (Same melody as the “Obladi Oblada life goes on… yeah! LA LA LA Life goes on..”
2) Another uncle lives in a house that was pretty much gated with every steel he can find in BM. We call him Uncle Jail.
3) Another father’s friend. He doesn’t have much of a chin, we call him Uncle Jagung or Uncle Cotton Bud. We never find out his real name.
Etc.. etc…
Hey Venusgal,
Thanks for sharing those nickanems with us. It’s very funny. I like mothers who are creative like that. Mom is the same. But not on giving nicknames, but she gets things mixed up. Like RTM she’ll say KTM. Hundred Plus, the drink, she’ll say Code10, the hair product.
Thanks for sharing! And most of all, listening to the shows.
I should have put my name as TauKnguah instead of Venusgal. How can I forget my own hua mia! haha Pai seh
You’re welcome 🙂
Oh it’s you hioh!
